Rinaldi & Co are registered tax agents under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (TASA) and are committed to meeting all professional, ethical and legislative obligations as regulated by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB).
Our Registration
All relevant Rinaldi & Co entities are registered with the TPB and are listed on the TPB Public Register, where clients can view each entity’s registration status, conditions and any applicable disclosures:

Code of Professional Conduct
As registered tax agents, we comply with the TPB Code of Professional Conduct set out in section 30-10 of TASA, which requires us to:
- Act honestly and with integrity
We act lawfully, ethically and in the best interests of our clients. - Comply with taxation laws
We take reasonable care to ensure that the taxation laws are applied correctly and that advice and services provided are accurate and complete. - Manage conflicts of interest
We identify, disclose and appropriately manage any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. - Maintain confidentiality
We protect client information and only use or disclose it where authorised or required by law. - Maintain competence and professional standards
We ensure services are provided with appropriate skill, care and diligence, including adequate supervision of staff and any outsourced service providers.
In addition, we comply with all relevant Accounting Professional & Ethical Standards (APES) applicable to the services we provide.
Client Engagement and Communication
We maintain clear and transparent engagement and communication practices, including:
- Written engagement documents outlining the scope of services provided and excluded
- Clear communication of client responsibilities and information requirements
- Requests for supporting documentation or evidence to substantiate claims, deductions or transactions
- Timely notification of any material changes affecting our services
These practices support compliance with our obligations under TASA and assist in ensuring accurate and reliable outcomes for clients.
Client Conduct and Our Professional Obligations
We are required to take reasonable care and must not assist in the preparation or lodgement of information that we know, or ought reasonably to know, is false or misleading.
Where concerns cannot be satisfactorily resolved, we may be required to decline to act or discontinue our engagement in accordance with our professional and legal obligations.
Disclosure of Notifiable Events
Under section 30-35 of TASA and the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2009, registered tax agents must notify the TPB of certain prescribed events within 30 days.
As at 1 January 2026, no notifiable events have occurred in relation to any Rinaldi & Co entity.
Any future notifiable events will be disclosed to the TPB in accordance with statutory requirements.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Rinaldi & Co maintains adequate professional indemnity insurance in accordance with section 30-15 of TASA, appropriate to the nature and scale of the services we provide.
Complaints and Your Rights
If you have concerns regarding our services, we encourage you to raise them with us in the first instance so we can seek to resolve the matter promptly.
